Red Hot Chili Peppers to play Turkey for the first time at Santralistanbul September 8, 2012!
The long-awaited legendary rock band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, will perform in Istanbul on September 8, 2012 as part of their biggest world tour. Consisting of 60 different countries, the tour is expected to become an unforgettable experience for fans.
One of the most successful bands in rock history, Red Hot Chili Peppers have sold more than 60 million albums worldwide, including five multi-platinum LPs, and have won multiple Grammy Awards, including "Best Rock Album" for Stadium Arcadium, "Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group" for "Dani California," "Best Rock Song" for "Scar Tissue," and "Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal" for "Give It Away." The band members include Anthony Kiedis (vocals), Michael "Flea" Balzary (bass), Chad Smith (drums) and Josh Klinghoffer (guitar). They have succeeded to create a unique combination of funk/rock and punk within their sound and also have proven great acts on various stages worldwide.
The group has been the leading name in the music industry since 1983, with the well-acclaimed smashing hits such as Californication, Otherside, Scar Tissue and By the way. Turkish fans will get the chance to experience an unforgettable performance by the Red Hot Chili Peppers live in concert at Santralistanbul on Saturday, September 8, 2012.
