The Panorama 1453 Historical Museum, which was opened with the participation of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on 31 January 2009, has graced the city of Istanbul thanks to the efforts of the Istanbul Metropolitan City Council. The museum of the conquest, which opens a door onto Istanbul’s history, is located across from the spot on the Topkapi-Edirnekapi ramparts where the siege occurred and is run by Kültür A.S.
